- Learning to grow their business as this creative career field heats up!
CHICAGO – Redesigners and stagers from across the country, as well as outside the U.S., will convene for the 10th annual Interior Redesign & Staging Industry Specialists (IRIS) conference and expo, held in Golden, Colo., from Sept. 24 to Sept. 26.
The international conference event theme is “Soaring to New Heights in Your Business.” Industry experts will provide creative ideas and strategies to increase business productivity and profits as well as heighten public awareness of redesign and home staging.
With myriad unsold homes on the real estate market, this year’s well-timed theme will be of interest to professional stagers who revamp properties in order to improve sales potential. Redesigners will also benefit from the information as budget-minded homeowners and companies endeavor to reuse what they already own – rather than buy new – when redecorating.
“Redesigning and staging are among the hottest emerging services as companies and individuals seek a new look for their business or residence,” according to Sandy Dixon, executive director of IRIS, a Chicago-based nonprofit association.
“This is our 10th anniversary and the conference will bring hundreds of professional interior redesigners, real estate and home staging specialists, and decorators together to network, advance their business skills and learn about the latest and most innovative industry products and services,” she says.
The conference will also kick off IRIS Get Redesigned Month, when members highlight the economic and eco-friendly benefits of this use-what-you-already-own decorating approach.
The conference is open to both IRIS members and nonmembers. Visit www.WeRedesignandStage.com for more information about the conference and to register, sponsor or exhibit. Please contact IRIS toll free at 866-388-5208 with any questions.
